North Topsail Beach is located on the north end of the island near the mainland town of Sneads Ferry. North Topsail Beach is home to two vacation resorts: Villa Capriani and the St. Regis. It is also home to the Sea View Resturant and Fishing Pier (one of the longest piers in North Carolina). North Topsail beach is known for uncrowded and serene beaches and many say it's the best place to look for shark teeth and sea glass along the sand. It is also the only place to drive a 4x4 vehicle on the beach, with a daily, weekly or annual permit.
